Blingdenstone Neheedra and the Wererats (Recap from 7-14-23) Adventure day (Whelson the 17th of Horisal) The morning comes to “The Foaming Mug” as the party starts stirring and getting ready for the day. Neheedra wakes from her drug induced sleep finding herself manacled and transformed back into her normal Drow self after many decades as a horrible monster with snakes for hair. She laid in a soft bed and reached up with her manacled hands to stroke her silvery white hair. Feeling the silky strands through her fingertips she started to weep softy, overcome by emotion. Blingdenstone Rockblight(Recap from 7-7-23) (Grissen the 16th of Horisal) After a restful night in “The Foaming Mug”, the group made their way to the staging area to gain access to the Rockblight. Along the way they met Gurnik Tapfinger, head priest of Callarduran Smoothhands in the Stoneheart Enclave, who approaches the party greeting Flink and asking them to undertake a dangerous task in a closed-off area of the old city known as Rockblight, where the temple of his god stands desecrated. The party agreed, and he gave them a ruby spell gem containing the hallow spell and asked them to place the gem in the Steadfast Stone's menhir. Gurnik warns them that once they place the gem, Ogrémoch's Bane will send its servants to stop them. They must defeat these servants until the gem awakens three temple guardians, at which point the temple will be cleansed and the characters can leave. Trip to Blingdenstone (Recap from 6-30-23) (Yulisen the 13th of Horisal) The first day of travel, Flink Thunderboink being extremely excited about escorting the party to Blingdenstone showed up very early and was waiting for the party outside of Rystia’s yurt. She is visibly excited and talks a lot about how honored she was to be going on this great adventure with the party on such an important mission. Although secretly she is maybe a little afraid. The trek went smoothly until mid-morning when eight Barlgura Demons tried to ambush the party. They failed to gain surprise, but the battle was very heated. Flink forgot her training during the combat and engaged with her dagger, instead of using the magic she had been studying. She secretly hoped the party had not noticed and was very relieved that the battle was over. (Continued)Trip Back to Mantol-Derith on the Darklake (Recap from 6-23-23) (Folsen the 5th of Horisal) After the bloody fierce battle the night watch found the Theurgeme at the Mouth of the Grimrun River transitioning to the Darklake with no hostile encounters. (Yulisen the 6th of Horisal) The terrors of the night left behind, the cook prepared breakfast of questionable ingredients but that surprisingly tasted pretty good. The ship continued into the dark waters. During the fourth watch, six Quipper swarms start following the ship. The crew that was standing watch grabbed some Harpoons and started spearing and reeling in enough Quipers to make 168 fish filets, the cook was extremely busy rapidly cleaning the fish that were being caught. Some of the filets were hung up to dry, some put in cabinets of colding, some fried for snacks, and some put in a fish and mushroom stew for dinner. For the next few days fish would be on the menu.
