Corin, Bad Dreams (Recap from 4-7-23)



(Conthsen the 25th of Quen'pillar) The morning found the party in their new home the Lair in Hupperdook. After the night's rest they decided to go into town to do some shopping and look for a Leather worker to process the Behir Hide into armor with lightning resistance. The group also searched for a suitable warehouse in lower Hupperdook. They found one they bought for 500 gp. Elmo Scribed in stone a permanent magic circle in the basement of the warehouse, and memorized it. They explored the Book Shoppe, and Pipe & Weed Shoppe. They also visited the Lay of the Lands Herbalist. While in Hupperdook the party set up regular deliveries for supplies up the mountain of ale, wine, produce, cheese, dairy, and dry goods.



They spent The next week working on down time activities, with some members of the group gaining new skills.Corin, was still suffering from bad dreams of the underdark, wished that the group would travel to Marquet, thinking that the blazing sun of the desert would be about as far away from the underdark as one could possibly get. The largest desert in Exandria would be the Rumedam Desert in Marquet. Centuries after the Calamity, Marquet is known as a continent of deserts and mountains, with few bastions of civilization to be found.

The group did know Marasil who went to visit Ank'Harel, a city in Marquet, the center of Rumedam Desert, and the center of culture, history, and power for the continent. It was also known as the Jewel of Hope, and (the translation of its name from the northern Marquesan dialect) the Jewel of Marquet. It was built "long ago", the earliest mention dates back four hundred years ago since the reign of J'mon Sa Ord. Ank'Harel also had an exclusive boarding school as well as an extensive Cobalt Reserve Archives.



Kobold Mining Profits for the fourth week of the fourth month and the first week of the fifth month, the Kobolds mining efforts yielded a scant 400 gp worth of platinum ingots, (Subtracting the mine expenses for two weeks is 1010 gp, so each party member loses about 102 gp taken out of the overall mine profits. (also 8 new eggs were laid in the lair)

Xorhaus and the Underdark(Recap from 1-6-23) (Miresen the 24th of Sydenstar) Night: The party had a long, much needed rest in The Forest Inn after the combat at Stahlmasts Lair. Upon retiring for the night. Corin has a nightmare that he hasn't had in quite a while. "As darkness descends Corin sees his younger self in a dark cavern unable to see being chased by a monster, Balok, of House Baenre, and his two friends Sorn and Nym both of House Baenre as well, taunting Corin as he ran naked in the blinding inky darkness.
