Leaving Felderwin (Recap from 12-2-22)

(Miresen the 10th of Sydenstar) The adventurers wake up and have breakfast in Felderwin. They soon find out the caravan has delayed its departure for a couple days to repair some of the wagons, as the next nine days of travel go through some very wild areas with no wagonwrights or wheelwrights until they arrive in Hupperdook. Abner picked up his sister's gown from Sherilyn Pebbletosser who requested that she spread the word about where she got the gown, if she likes it. Abner bought an ingot of Adamantine and sent that along with some letters to his parents' stronghold. Malik found the Myriad contact Blake Henderson that owns "A Seedy Bar" with a Myriad safe house under the bar. He found out that Orsyn Blackwind overcharges at the stockyard, and Shay Riley will give a fair price for stock and horses. He also says Cleo Lillyspirit, a Female Firbog and Priestess of Melora, will not charge for a restoration or healing. The party bought some silvered Boar spears. (At a 10% discount). Abner and Malik donated sacks of Copper to the Orphanage in Felderwin. Lady Nimanda Erdan a half high elf, and the group mother was very grateful as with the rapidly approaching war will likely bring more orphans and possibly during the harshest part of the winter.

Lynde Proudfoot told Abner about one of Layla's relatives, Erasmus Pebbletosser, who specializes in studying the underdark, and the dark elves. They think he might be able to shed some knowledge on the amulets Abner found on the battlefield. He lives alone in a mage tower in Felderwin Tillage, near the famous Kryn purple worm hole. 

The party makes last minute preparations for the morning's departure, looking forward to the nine days' travel from Felderwin to Hupperdook.

(Grissen the 11th of Sydenstar) Travel the first day was easy with no encounters. The group found a camping spot and set up watches for the night though they had no encounters.

(Whelson the 12th of Sydenstar) The second day of travel was once again though cultivated farm lands with no encounters. There were also no encounters that night. The party did find a stone cairn obscuring a bronze box of 300 gp as they were breaking camp for the next days travel.

(Conthsen the 13th of Sydenstar) On the third day they make it to Felderwin Tillage around noon and decide to rest the animals for a day. The group explored the tillage and paid 2cp each to see the great wyrm hole which the villagers have covered with large felled trees bound with ropes and chains. They also meet up with Erasmus "Elmo" Pebbletosser at the wormhole. There were no encounters that night. Erasmus "Elmo" Pebbletosser joins the party bound for Hupperdook.

(Folsen the 14th of Sydenstar)  The fourth day of travel there were no encounters during the day's travel. The group found a campsite and set watches throughout the night and had no encounters. The party did find an abandoned hidden sack with; 1,000cp, 25gp art objects (×6; worth 150 gp total): a black velvet mask stitched with silver thread, a silver ewer, some cloth-of-gold vestments, (×2), a small gold bracelet, a copper chalice with silver filigree.

(Yulisen the 15th of Sydenstar) During the fifth day of travel the group had no encounters, They found a camping place and set up watches the night was uneventful no encounters.

(Da'Leysen the 16th of Sydenstar)  Just after starting down the road for the sixth day of travel the party encounters a dead fall piled across the road, some Gnolls were hiding trying to be stealthy and ambush the party, but the ambush failed and the Gnolls attacked. After the heated battle, the party finds the following treasure:  340 gp in coinage: (10 pp, 220 gp, 2000 cp), Magic Items (Table B): (+1 Arrow (x4), Potion of Animal Friendship, Potion of Growth). During the third watch of the night the watcher saw a group of rangers in full camouflage. They were very embarrassed when the party noticed them, and moved quickly deeper into the forest.
