Road to Hupperdook (Recap from 12-9-22)

(Miresen the 17th of Sydenstar) Day seven of the trip to Hupperdook was a peaceful, easy day of travel. That evening as your caravan is setting up camp four hunters stumble into your camp two are wounded pretty badly. Asking for help, they relay a tragic story that they were hunting boar with a group of 12 (two of which were Crowns Guards from Hupperdook) They had cornered the biggest boar any of them had ever seen. It charged and gutted one of the crown guards immediately. At that point the leader of the group speared it with his magic spear. All the rest of the hunters rushed in and speared away at the beast. The weird thing they noticed was that only the fancy silver spears and the magic spear seemed to hurt the beast. The hunters thought the hunting spears were a bit fancy with polished silver and joked about getting the fancy ones dirty. The most shocking thing was that when they finally killed the boar, it polymorphed into a nude human male. During the battle the horses bolted, leaving the surviving hunters stranded in the wilderness. After the bloody battle Svela had the fore-thought to gather the unbroken spears and bundled them up, one in the bundle was the +1 spear.

Zboza has uneven black hair and gray eyes. He wears a breastplate and wields a spear and shield. He is wounded.

Mila Stonebrook: Male Human commoner,

Str 16, Dex 7, Con 8, Int 11, Wis 12, Cha 13 (HP 8, AC 10) HP currently at 3.

Mila is courtly in bearing, with long copper hair and sharp green eyes. He wears studded leather and wields a spear. He was badly wounded in his leg, and in a lot of pain.

Svela Sedláková: Female Human commoner,

Str 16, Dex 14, Con 15, Int 13, Wis 9, Cha 11 (HP 14, AC 14) HP currently at 14.

Svela has uneven gray hair and blue eyes. She wears studded leather and wields a spear. She was carrying a bundle of 6 spears from the fallen members of their party. She is sullen but calm.

Blava Soroka: Female Human Commoner

Str 13, Dex 8, Con 13, Int 7, Wis 14, Cha 12 (HP 7, AC 9)

Blava is fey in appearance, with messy copper hair and blue eyes. She wears leather armor and wields a spear. Blava was learning boar hunting. She was uninjured, but terrified and crying.

The party took the survivors in and surmised the wounded folks would probably change into wereboars eventually so they expanded lesser restoration and healing spells and the wounded folks were restored to health with the lycanthropy infection cured.

Around the third watch, the two full moons of Exandria showed through the trees and a Gigantic Demon Boar accompanied by a rampaging Wereboar sprang from the undergrowth. After a heated battle in which both Zboza, and Mila were killed outright, Svela was knocked unconscious and dragged from the combat zone. She was healed by Corin, after which she jumped right back into the fray, even though Corin urged her retreat and hide. The group found the following inside the large demons belly:

The group buried the two hunters that were killed and took care of the others who were wounded. Svela's bravery impressed Abnar and offered to take Svela as a squier.

(Grissen the 18th of Sydenstar) Day eight of travel the group was able to relax a bit with no encounters. The group found a suitable place to set up camp and set watches for the night. There were no unusual encounters.

(Whelson the 19th of Sydenstar) The next day they broke camp and continued on for the ninth day of travel, the day was warm and pleasant there were no encounters. The group arrived at Hupperdook mid day on the 9th day.



After they arrived at Hupperdook and the group was put up in rooms at "The Sootswallow Lodge" because of Malik being on official Myriad business, trying to track down another Myriad operative who disappeared named Yirna Emberwind a centaur bounty hunter, who is a couple days overdue.
