Level 1.

Level 2.

Level 3.

(Whelson the 9th of Misuthar) Combat continued, and Karazikar started using his lair actions through Shedraks eye staff. The group had a tough battle with the Arch-Mage Shedrak of the Eyes, the weird architecture, and split levels connected by swinging rope bridges of the vast oblivion causing tactical problems with combat, and almost cast several members of the party into the depths of the vast oblivion.(Also running this combat skipping between 11 maps in Above VTT was insane) The group was finally successful, but as Shedrak fell the Beholder floated down screaming in anger at the death of his favorite slave. Combat continued and eventually after a long tiring fight the group was successful, killing Karazikar the Eye Tyrant.

Once the Beholder was dead, the 100 slaves that the tyrant had amassed were left in a state of confusion and fear, for some a bit of hope. The four halfling slingers and a couple human male bowmen/ spearmen were part of Abnar’s failed campaign against what at the time he thought was the Kryn Dynasty war party, but later was discovered to be Children of Malice dressed like Kryn in order to start a war between the Kryn Dynasty and the Dwindallian Empire. The humans were Viktor Tanner, and Gil Modrutsk who were two childhood friends from Berrybush Portage who both saw Abnar go down and thought he was dead. The Slingers also saw Abnar go down in combat before they were captured. They were Halflings from Riverby-on-Eisfus a small village on the Invictus estate. Rollo Silentfoot, Porro Fallohide, Priamus Burrowes, and Ilberic Proudmead, all survived the battle by being shot with poison darts and taken prisoner. All were very happy to see Abnar alive. Once they got the survivors situated they all worked on getting a series of rope and basket elevators to hoist the former prisoners to the top level so they could escape from the lower levels due to the fact the battle destroyed most of the bridges.

After a couple days of building the elevator system, feeding, and caring for the 100 odd prisoners who are now free from the terrifying captivity of the beholder. The prisoners consist of the follows:
  • 21 Duergar commoners (9 Female and 12 Male)
  • 10 Human commoners (6 Female and 4 Male)
  • 7 Halflings (1 Female and 6 Male)
  • 6 Pallid elf commoners (4 Female and 2 Male)
  • 10 Drow (8 Female and 2 Male)
  • 11 Deep gnomes (5 Female and 6 Male)
  • 20 Goblins (13 Female and 7 Male)
  • 15 Orcs (8 Female and 7 Male)
Shiril teleported the Deep Gnomes and Duergar to Mantol-Derith, while Elmo teleported the rest to the Clan Hall in Grimgolir. The Loot from the very inaccessible Beholder lair was:

  • 2, potion of superior healing, 1, potion of poison, and 1, spell scroll of globe of invulnerability
  • 1, Beholder Membrane worth 45 gp
  • 2, Beholder Eye Stalks Telekinetic, and Disintegration eye stalks worth 500 gp ea.
  • 1, Main beholder's eye worth 3500 gp
  • 100,000 sp, 80,000 gp, 15,000 pp, twenty assorted gems worth 5000 gp each, 1, gem of seeing, 1, necklace of adaptation, and 1, robe of eyes

Total Loot for the session: coins and merch = 244,545 gp, gems = 100000 gp

The party takes 50% and lets the survivors divide up the rest among the 100 folks. The Party each gets 15,661 gp, and the survivors each get 1723 gp.
