DnD Campaign One “Hucksters heroes:”

Preparing for the Underdark (Recap from 5-12-23)   After returning to Grimgolir through a blizzard which kept the party pinned down for several days on the trip from Nogvurot the group had the first truly comfortable night in several weeks. Waking up (Miresen the 5th of Duscar which was also the holiday of Embertide) to a good breakfast and servants to help with getting the group ready to face the day. There was news from the empire that their steward read to the group during breakfast/brunch. The laws governing worship of only official Gods, was rescinded, freedom of religion is now a right across the empire, with the exception of more violent sects such as the betrayer gods. There were going to be sky towers built in Rexxentrum, and Zadash, to facilitate world trade, with Issylra, Tal'Dorei and Marquet. Lady Ashelon a Night Hag? (Recap from 4-28-23)   (Da’Leysen the 19th of Cuersaar) After arriving unexpectedly in the teleportation circle in the Cobalt Reserve in Rexxentrum, the party and Albert Sládek, a Cobalt soul Expositor, were greeted by High Curator Yudala Fon and Archivist Kathedoc. The party relayed the information about the Ashelons, their association with House Baenre, and the plot to get the empire and Kryn fighting so the underdark could rise up and defeat the weakened winner. Yudala Fon told the group to rest in the guest rooms of the Reserve and work with Expositor Albert Sládek to come up with a rebuttal to the claims of wrongdoing the Ashelons were going to raise. The group finally settled in for a long rest. The Devilish Ant Pub (Recap from 4-21-23) (Da’Leysen the 19th of Cuersaar) Twenty days after leaving Grimgolier to chase the Jaggenthots through Savilirwood, the group finds them selves investigating the Sedlakova Farmstead which appears abandon, and the horses, and ox starving from not being feed, the group went back in to town carrying a note from Svela’s Uncle to send a person to watch over the farm until he could find his kinfolk. The group went to “The Devilish Ant Pub” and talked to the Owner who also happened to be a Myriad sub-boss Jana Vorzakone. Who told the party that she was expecting a myriad courier who was overdue and might have been captured by the Ashelons. She also told them there were rumors of a secret escape tunnel the Ashelons put in to escape the keep if it should fall under siege they would be able to escape. Svela's Memory Crystal (Recap from 4-14-23)  (Da’Leysen the 5th of Cuersaar) After a week of relaxing, shopping, and crafting, as well as many long rests in their Lair. The group bamphed(teleported) to their clan hall in Grimgolir. Some of the letters Abnar had sent out have returned. His father had agreed to allow Abnar to establish an Invictus distributorship in Grimgolir. His family was happy to hear from him and glad that he was doing ok, they didn't have much information on the Ashlans other than they were “difficult” people. Corin, Bad Dreams (Recap from 4-7-23) (Conthsen the 25th of Quen'pillar) The morning found the party in their new home the Lair in Hupperdook. After the night's rest they decided to go into town to do some shopping and look for a Leather worker to process the Behir Hide into armor with lightning resistance. The group also searched for a suitable warehouse in lower Hupperdook. They found one they bought for 500 gp. Elmo Scribed in stone a permanent magic circle in the basement of the warehouse, and memorized it. They explored the Book Shoppe, and Pipe & Weed Shoppe. Arrival in Molaesmyr (Recap from 3-31-23)   (Folsen the 23th of Quen'pillar) The morning came early to the party as they huddled in their tiny hut, against the necrotic chill of the Savalirwood. Haunting moans were heard through the nights and oddly every 30 minutes or so a small barely perceivable pulse of necrotic arcane power could be felt. Elmo sent out his familiar to scout for the Jaegentoths party, they found that the party was further behind than they had thought. They wouldn't arrive in Molaesmyr until the next day around the third watch later in the afternoon. Chasing the Jagentoths (Recap from 3-24-23)  The Savalirwood (17th of Quen'pillar) The Hucksters heroes take a moment to breathe and relax in their new Clan Hall located in the Noble quarter of Grimgolir. Upkeep for this hall along with upkeep from the Hupperdook mines  come to 505 gp per week. They met the staff and the steward showed the group around Grimgolir.
